Response to Intervention
Response to Intervention (RTI) contributes to more effective identification of learning and behavioral problems. It improves instructional quality and provides all students with the best opportunities to succeed in school. It assists with the identification of learning disabilities and other disabilities.
At Garfield, we are implementing the RTI process from screening and progress monitoring, to data-based decision-making with multi-level prevention systems to ensure that we respond and intervene appropriately to meet the needs of each student.
